Learn how your favorite photos and images can translate into sensitive and powerful drawings. This class will cover a brief introduction on drawing and then focus on how to translate photographs using drawing techniques and tools. Graphite, charcoal, colored pencils, and pastel will be discussed. Perfect for beginners or those looking for a new perspective!
Held at the Cedarburg Cultural Center Saturday, April 20: 10 am – 3 pm (includes a break for lunch) Abstraction is a fun and unique way to work with watercolor. We will briefly cover the basics of watercolor and then delve into experimental techniques that respond to patterns, colors, and textures. Composition will be discussed along with ways to express oneself through the flow of water. Beginners are welcome!
Take acrylic painting to the next

Beki will review the basics of acrylic painting before moving into
more experimental techniques. Students will work to create their own
abstract landscape paintings with individualized feedback from the
instructor and group. Open to all levels of experience. More advanced
painters will have the opportunity to push the boundaries of their
painting practice, while beginners will develop skill.
