Painting from Nature
Tuesdays, September 13 – October 18, 10am – 12pm

Nature is a timeless choice of subject matter for artists. Painting from nature suggests capturing movement, light, and texture. In this class we will work from both life and photo to delve into patterns and compositions found all around us. While this class will focus on acrylics, other mediums are welcome.

Cost: $120

Mixed Media on Paper
Thursdays, September 15 – October 20, 10am – 12pm

Paper is an essential support for art making. Most mediums such as watercolor, charcoal, pencil, and even acrylic can be put to paper. Its simplicity promotes experimentation and its soft absorption can create subtle effects. This class will explore the many ways of making art on paper with both wet and dry media.

Cost: $120
